There's too many people wondering what is to happen in the future instead of what's happening right now. There's a reason why it's called the FUTURE. We don't know what's going to happen. All of the science, religion, history and philosophical bullshit that people preach everyday can only do so much. It's not enough to take in all of the information and reconstruct it as your won, because the world is over-saturated with liberal and conservative bullshit to cloud your mind from the bigger picture.
The bigger picture is you, and exactly where YOU as a PERSON stands in the world. You have to be concerned about what you do that dictates exactly where you want to be in life and stopping wondering and wishing what could have been or what will be, because the honest truth is that YOU. HAVE. NO. I.DEA. If I knew exactly what was in store for me in the future, would I be typing away like a mad person at 12 in the afternoon listening to hip hop as my inspiration to be getting me somewhere? NO...because I would already be well on my way to achieving the dream I know that I have.
But the thing is...I don't know where I'm going to be...I only have an IDEA where I'm gonna be, but anything can happen between now and the future. I don't know what could happen in 30 minutes or 1 hour, I just have to focus on what I'm doing right now, and right now, that is writing this blog. This is not preaching if you think that I am, this is not bitching if you think that's what I'm doing. This is my word. I'm not a bible, I'm not a significant figure in your life that can bring about change to you. I just talk, and some people listen. It's all about those few people who actually take the time to realize a lot about the world and how not so big it is.
What's the meaning of life? It's a question that no one can answer, but the real question should be what's the meaning of YOUR life? I know some people probably saw that coming and are rolling their eyes at me because it seems like a cheesy, clicheed statement, but is it not true? Is that not why we're hear? to get an understanding of WHY we're hear? WHY we fight? WHY we struggle to live? WHY we have to force ourselves to be better than the next person? WHY? Every question needs an answer, so what's stopping you from trying to answer your own questions?
There are people who know who they are, or CLAIM to know ho they are, but then when someone tells them something about themselves, they feel the need to tense up and get offended because that other person doesn't "know." But I pose this question: do you really know yourself? I always say that I know myself, because I know my habits and what-have-you, BUT...there's still a lot that I need to discover, and that's the problem. People think that they know themselves after a few years of "soul searching" or reading the bible. Listen, I don't mean to offend, but if you let a book determine you are as a person, and let that dictate you on how you carry yourself, then sometimes there are lost clauses about yourself that need to be re-discovered. and like I said, I know that was a controversial statement, but think about it. If you say that you read the Bible daily, but yet you still are a hypocrite on how you carry on towards other people, then what EXACTLY what are you doing? You're the same as any other person. Have faith in yourself. I'm not saying NOT to believe in a higher power, but some people don't, and we're quick to call them atheists, but when IN THEORY, how do you know? You Don't. If you automatically judge someone because of their beliefs, no matter WHAT it is, because there are a lot, then how are you going about in GOD's footsteps? You're not, period.
The Bigger Picture revolves around you. You are the Painter and the world is your Canvas. Take advantage of what's around you, and anything is possible. It's been said before, but if it's been said so often, then do you not believe it?

In The 'N', we're all the same
I recently watched a video that involved an eleven-year-old African-American male talking about the history of the N-word. The N-word has been in the mouths of slave masters for hundreds of years before easing it's way through the mouths of black people and other people of other races. I don't want to offend anyone reading this, but the N-word wont stop being said. It's something that will drag on for more generations to come as long as hip hop and rap are still berating the children's ears, and since children are the future, the N-word grows with them.
We are all guilty of saying the word around the wrong crowd. The word has a history that isn't the best. It's been descended upon us through comedians, movies, music, and our friends/family. Why does this word have so many followers attached to it? Because it's a word that is spun many different ways. If you ask a black man why he says "nigga",he simply says that he's referencing his people. But are we niggas? or niggers as the white supremacists still think that we are? We call each other this because to us there's no emotional attachment, no anger, no burning desire to hunt down our own blood because of this word, but when someone of another race says the word towards us, we feel small, inadequate, seperated from the world, and we want to burn the world down. It's ironic because the word "Nigger" stems from the word negro, which is Spanish for Black (which was mentionned in the video by the young man), but in modern times it's translated as being ignorant, and we are ignorant for being offended by the word when someone else says it, and not offended when we say it to each other.
It's sad that this word is still in our daily vocabulary, but at the same time, it's never going to die out. It's a word that constantly brings out a new meaning, and new message, which makes people of non-black cultures "right" to say it, and it's not. I agree that the word should be eliminated, but why is it that black people have to be the first to stop using it? Because we say it more than any other race? no I don't believe that. Black people are 10% the population of North America. There are at least 7-10 times more non-black races in North America, and the word did originate from the europeans, also known as white or caucasian people. Black people use this word loosley without any regards to who is listening to us. There's always someone listening to us, no matter how hard we try to hide it. The awareness that we have is not very good when we're talking amongst ourselves, but sometimes comfort can get the best of us. We say it, then someone hears it, and then it just grows, which is why he have this problem.
The word is meant to be a harmful word, but has somehow made it's way to being a positive thing to say without any fear of backlash or retaliation. Are we, as people, that far removed from the slaves days to make it okay for it to say? Some say no, but a majority says yes. It's here to stay, we have to live with what the word means for different people. The ignorance will continue, because if you have no knowledge, then you are limitless as an individual.
The goal of black people is to rise and overcome, to be treated as equals, to show the world that we are naturally intelligent people of a different race, but at the end of the day, when we do rise, overcome, when we are viewed as being a race that is respected throughout,
We're all still N.I.G.G.A's

Number 1- Red Carpet Intro
I don't blog.
I've never blogged a day in my life. Unless you want to call writing 'Notes' on Facebook blogging, then yes I have blogged before. I'm getting a spell check error, telling me that blogged is not a word. I would like this to be explained, because it's the most popular thing to do these days. When people need to vent or share an entertaining facet about their day, what do they do? THEY BLOG, right? Or am I just crazy? so if they are blogging in their blog, and once they finish said blog, have they not have BLOGGED? no? okay Microsoft Word spell check, I personally thought that you were smart. You've been checking my English homework my entire life, but apparently you can't keep up with the modern dictionary of people in the 21st-information technology-century, but getting back to the main point...
I don't blog.
Why have I not blogged before? No idea, but I will tell you that this is something that should have been invented when I was in High School, instead of having repressed anger issues and channelling them through cussing all the time. I don't like to cuss, it's not attractive amongst people, but i could really give a s--- (I'm trying to make this as G-rated as possible. It could upgrade to PG-13 though). Blogging is a new experience for me. It's not hard. it's not like working in retail for the first time ever, or riding a bike, or driving one of your boy's cars and almost crashing into a parked car in a seamlessly empty parking lot (sorry Nyce..you know yelling at someone while they try to drive isn't good for anyone IN the car..just saying)-- no it's NOTHING like those incidents that I have encountered. This is a good way to get out what you want to say, unscripted, unedited, your own personal views, beliefs and experiences that can express a wide arrange of emotions to some people. However this blog comes out to some people is totally in they're power, because I'm just trying to make this a good read for some people, so bear with me.
The Red Carpet. It's where everyone wants to be. Why? It signifies being in the public eye, looking nice, fly, delicious, or whatever other adjective is appropriate for the usage of looking so fresh and so clean (I hope Outkast doesn't sue for reference of their song. It's a good song..buy it on iTunes if you people get the chance to do so. Or..download it..Limewire, Ares, BitTorrent, it doesn't matter, just buy it). The red carpet is more like the walk of your life. The flashing lights (Kanye...don't sue me), all of the celebrities, and just the atmosphere. It's easy to get on a tabloid magazine with no issue..why? because EVVVVVVVVVVERYONE and their mother is taking a picture of whoever is there, so the fact that you can step on the red velvet, is more like a baptism into the starlight. Many people want that: The limelight, the bright lights..but at what cost? There's a lot of hard work and sacrifice that goes into getting to the top. It's clichee, I know, but you know what? One of my college professors (Tracey Kadish) says that repetition is the best way to learn. well ya, we've all known this since our parents made us recite the Alphabet and our times-tables (ahh the days of Elementary school mathematics...good times, good times). Getting to the top is not easy. It wasn't meant to be easy. If it was easy, then I wouldn't be sitting here blogging about it being hard at 12am on a wednesday morning when I could be sleeping, but NOPE, I'd rather go to bed with a clear head, than a jumbled up one. But this is only the beginning of my blogging experience. There's a lot to talk about. I don't follow politics (too depressing), I'm all about sports (basketball and football, so don't get toooooo excited), and just everyday things that MAY and WILL pop into my head. SO, for now BloggerWorld
